Blogger Post Editor - Right Sidebar Explained

 What Are Labels

Below videos will show you how to add labels and it's function

Don't Forget To Edit Your Permalink

Usually many people (including us) forget to edit the permalink before we hit the Publish button on our blog post.

There are two options as shown in the image
  • Custom Permalink
  • Automatic Permalink

When you write a post, Blogger automatically generates a permalink based on the title of the post. But this permalink can be change by creating a custom permalink.

If you want to add a custom url for our blog post, we tick custom permalink option. Write our unique url then click done button.

When you view blog post. On the top of your browser you'll see your custom url. The blog post you are reading now have a custom permalink. Have a look at the top of your browser. You'll see the url as http://create-awesome-blogger-blog.blogspot.com/2014/08/post-editor-sidebar.html

For this we have entered the "post-editor-sidebar" on the custom permalink box. Hope this will give you a good idea how you can edit your permalink.

Options

  • In the option section  you can choose to allow reader comments or not for specific post.
  • In the next option we recommend select Show HTML literally. What happens when you select Interpret typed HTML is, if you type "<b>Bold Tag </b>" on the compose side it will be automatically convert into Bold Tag .
  • When we press enter key on the post editor we move to the next line of our paragraph. Which means every time we press enter key we are adding a <br /> tag on the HTML side of the post editor. We recommend to choose Use <br> tag.
